OUR PROJECTS

Evaporative condenser replacement with minimal downtime—only one day—ensuring minimal disruption to plant production. The new tower is 13 inches taller due to oversized access doors. Location: Carson, producing 856 tons of ice daily. An added catwalk facilitates easy inspection and maintenance of spray nozzles and eliminators.

Replaced a chiller due to a failing roof, engineering a new platform for relocation. During this process, all failed insulation was replaced, and a new skid for the glycol reservoir and pump was fabricated. The project was completed in two days to minimize production downtime. All piping was insulated with urethane insulation and PVC jacket, and incorrectly installed piping was repaired.

Replaced 5 package units and 2 exhaust fans to prepare a building for a new tenant. Eight units were replaced over two days. This project is part of a larger initiative, with 2400 units installed this year, leveraging an $8000 tax credit per unit. The property owner has billions of sq ft in LA County. The units were selected based on age and condition.

Constructed a 10,000 sq ft processing/packing room for a meal prep company. The project faced budget constraints and required approval due to the refrigerant charge and CARB regulations. Completed under a tight deadline, the project coordinated with customer requirements to get the system operational.

Replaced units for TI and added a unit to meet the new tenant’s requests, similar to the Montebello project. This project is part of a larger initiative, with 2400 units installed this year, leveraging an $8000 tax credit per unit. The property owner has billions of sq ft in LA County.

Replaced BAC fluid coolers due to heavy corrosion and scale buildup, which reduced capacity. Two towers were replaced over an eight-hour period with no disruption to customer cooling load, thanks to organized planning.

As part of a comprehensive upgrade to improve the efficiency and reliability of our clients refrigeration systems, we successfully replaced 8 aging package units at this facility. These units had been in service for a while and were beginning to show signs of wear, making them less effective and more costly to maintain. The replacement is part of a larger, ongoing initiative that spans over 100 buildings throughout Southern California. This project reflects our commitment to providing state-of-the-art refrigeration solutions, ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and long-term reliability for our clients across the region. By upgrading these systems, we aim to reduce downtime, enhance cooling capacity, and minimize energy consumption, ultimately delivering greater value to our customers.

Replaced a 1970 evaporative condenser with a new unit upsized by 30%, making it 1550 nominal tons. This helps stabilize head pressure during high load and temperature conditions. The plant operates at 125 degrees and 155 PSI under full load, resulting in significant energy savings. The customer's ROI is less than 2½ years.
